Olive Oil Package Design

I will make purchases solely based on package design. For example, Voss water. I can't resist the design of that bottle. And, I definitely can't resist the design of these gourmet extra virgin olive oil  bottles from Ultra Lavish. Doesn't it look like perfume? You could place it on your vanity and no one would know it's olive oil. Exquisite!

Murray's Cheese Shop

I've been eyeing Murray's Cheese shop ever since cheese piqued my interest. It has been a New York institution since the 40's and carries an impressive selection of local, imported, artisanal cheeses. They also sell an array of gourmet items and have their very own cheese bar. I've never been to New York, but I'm making it a goal to visit Murray's. After seeing what Pentagram has done with their identity and packaging makes me want to go that much more. Have you ever been to Murray's?

Jamie Oliver & Co.

Chef Jamie Oliver  has been a culinary interest of mine since childhood. I remember watching his show, The Naked Chef, on Food Network and wanting to eat everything he dished. His simple approach to good food and endless efforts on healthy eating has allowed him to grow his brand and become a superstar of a chef.
I enjoy the simplicity and modernity of his logotype created by UK design firm Sea Design and the whimsical yet sophisticated packaging designed by Pearlfisher , which I think, encapsulates Jamie's quirky personality.
